1. Cover the Basics with Everyone

2. Use the Right Gear

You can also share some pieces of equipment between team members as appropriate, although your priority should of course be to ensure that everyone has the right gear in the end.

3. Keep Your Playing Area Secure

On a related note, you should also invest in some equipment that can help you clearly define the boundaries of your playing field. That way, there will be no misunderstandings, both internally between your players, as well as with any other people who might be sharing the general area with you. Remember to give everyone some time to unwind and recharge too! This is a good idea both in physical and mental terms, and it will help all your players play for a longer time without endangering themselves. Fatigue is one of the main contributing factors to injuries during active games, and you should do everything in your power to prevent that and ensure that everyone is given enough time to regain their strength. Try to organize some minor activities for those who’re feeling more restless, and of course, have some refreshing snacks and drinks to get everyone back on their feet as quickly as possible.

Once you’ve gone through a few games with the above rules in mind, it will get much easier to keep everyone safe and prevent incidents. Getting through that initial stage is often annoying to everyone, but it’s something you can’t afford to skip if you want to keep everyone out of danger. And if you’re the one organizing these games, this will probably be largely your responsibility to handle in the first place. With that in mind, it’s a good idea to take the time to figure these things out before investing any effort into organizing your first match.
