The Far Cry franchise is ready to add one more slot in the series. Far Cry 6 is shaping itself to become the most anticipated game of 2021. There is no doubt that previous versions of the Far Cry franchise were outstanding. Now, after the confirmation from Ubisoft, fans are so excited about the upcoming version of the game. It will be released in February 2021, so players won’t have to wait much longer.
Far Cry 6 will be quite different from the previous version, and it will enable the players to travel and explore the whole new world. In the upcoming Far Cry 6, there are several surprises for the fans that also include the novel setting, “Yara.” The environment in the game will be now more like a jungle instead of metro cities and it will also provide stunning visuals. Far Cry 5 was also 4K compatible, but it was only for the PC rather than consoles like Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. However, with the new generation of hardware, players are wondering how Far Cry 6 will adapt to the current hardware.
During the launch of Far Cry 6 trailer, a fan spotted an interesting footnote in the last seconds of the video. There was mentioned that 4K Ultra HD is going to be available on Xbox Series X and Xbox One X only, and HDR will be available on Xbox One S and the new consoles. Far Cry 6 will be available in 4K on PS5, PS4 Pro and PS4.
PlayStation fans were reassured that current PS4 and PS5 would be compatible with higher class visuals of Far Cry 6. It was uncertain why Ubisoft excluded PlayStation from the video notes, but they were fast to clear the uncertainty. Ubisoft released some HD screenshots of Far Cry 6 that look stunning.
4K compatibility is a great move. The environment and buildings of the game are a part of impressive graphics. In the world of Far Cry 6, players will be able to access some cool new features, and new characters. There will be a dog buddy named “Chorizo” in the game. So until the official game release, players can’t experience the actual graphics.
Far Cry 6 is currently one of the most anticipated sequels from the franchise. Ubisoft wasn’t ready for the trailer launch, but ultimately they did, and fans loved it. Now fans are more looking forward to getting more updates regarding the game launch.
