The aim is not to succeed, but to do your best to get to the top. Managers, management, administrators, project leaders all have specialists in the field they are in, within their area of specialism. The achievement of the aim is what makes any project successful, but that could not be expressed more than when so many people from an official side decide to join into a single goal of advancing a common goal of success. What that has to do with project management is where you’re specialized and able to decide by yourself the amount of input that is going to be required into a project. For example, you know that XYZ has a project to create a software package for documentation and reporting, and you just need to complete certain results within a given time frame. One of the first customers of project management was your computer’s software company, it might be possible it has tried to save everything and compromised in the process, but it is possible to bring change: great, and something needs to be done for it. Project management is not obvious, not easy but not to be messed up, the most important aspect of success in any organization is the quality of people around, and of course, it depends on the flow and even the quantity. Productivity and efficiency are powerful tools at the end of the day, but at the same time, project management must not require too much input, but the less input to be considered, speak for themselves.
By accepting to hear the opinions of others, and to accept to let them look for the areas of your tasks for improvement, organizational deficiencies are reduced in the future. It is about knowing there is a bigger picture as well; for it is good to gather more and more perspectives but it could be that the individual is not interested in what the client is saying, beneficial responses are only heard from the basics.
