There are three ways learners can get shortlisted for the scholarship 1-year program:
- Category A: This is for the top 10 national rank holders in SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) Olympiad, STEM Olympiad, and Robotics Olympiad. Moreover, it is applicable for students who have secured the 1st, 2nd, 3rd position in the National Children’s Science Congress annual competition. At GIIS Surat, these learners can get up to 9% on tuition fees.
- Category B: Category B follows similar criteria for selecting the students, but top 20 rank holders can SOF, STEM, and Robotics Olympiads. The category is applicable for students who were part of the winning team (Rank 1) at the ISRO Space Quiz and NSS (National Space Settlement). Under this category, students can avail of up to 6% on tuition fees.
- Category C: This category is for the top 30 rank holders of SOF, STEM, and Robotics Olympiad. The members of the runner up team (Rank 2) ISRO Space Quiz and NSS (National Space Settlement), along with top 10 students at competitions run by Microsoft, Google (mainly Google science fair), Adobe, or Intel. Moreover, the top 10 students of any national, state, or international-level robot olympiad are eligible under category C. This category offers 3% percent off on tuition fees.
A 5-step process to get shortlisted.
