Check the Maintenance Period while Playing the Game

You should pursue these steps given below:

  1. Navigate to the page of ‘Rockstar Games Service Status.’
  2. After that, go to the games list.
  3. Beneath the ‘Grand Theft Auto Online’ section and look at whether the game is displayed in red for the device.

Check the Version of Game

You should pursue these steps given below:

  1. You should invoke the game on your device.
  2. After that, navigate to the Online option.
  3. Then click on the ‘Options’ button.
  4. Now, reach the lower side and check the game version.
  5. Make sure it’s compatible with your device.

Force Update on Steam

You should pursue these steps given below:

  1. You have to open Steam.
  2. Thereafter, invoke the library of the game.
  3. Go to the GTA and right-click on it, then choose the Properties option.
  4. You should launch the section of Local Files.
  5. Later, select the ‘Verify the Integrity of the Game Files’ option.

Reset the Respawn Location on Xbox or PS4

  2. After that, choose the Settings through the upper right side of the screen.
  3. Then choose the ‘Linked Accounts’ option.
  4. Later, unlink the Gamertag or PSN ID.
  5. Set the Spawn location to ‘Last Known Location.’
  6. Now, connect the Gamertag or PSN ID to the account of Social Club.

Reboot the Home Network

You should pursue these steps given below:

  1. You should disable the Wi-Fi router and the modem.
  2. After that, detach all cords attached to the network device.
  3. Then let the router remain idle for a while.
  4. Connect the Ethernet cord again and the power cable.
  5. Now, reboot and check whether the issue is fixed.
