Quests and Monsters in Diablo 2 Resurrected Act 2

Act 2 in Diablo 2 Resurrected takes place in a port city in the foothills of the Aranoch Desert. Players need to complete Act 1 before entering Act 2 because in Diablo 2 Resurrected quests drive the game.

Acts in Diablo 2 Resurrected

There are 5 Acts in Diablo 2 Resurrected, and each Act has a series of missions, most of which are optional. The first 3 Acts have six quests, and the last Act has three quests. Act 5 highlights another six missions but doesn’t change how any of the missions in the first 4 acts work.

While there are good farm points in Diablo 2 Resurrected, quests can give us better rewards. We can get more d2r ladder items by completing the tasks in this game, and then we can get a better ranking in the ladder model.

Single monsters of the 2nd Act

Below we will list the monsters in Act 2 for you:

Single monsters of the 2nd Act

The monster enchantments listed here are the most basic, with additional abilities depending on the difficulty level you choose.

Quest Presentation

We can get information about quests in Acts 2 by pressing the “Q” button on the keyboard. There will be a task button on the mini panel that pops up. When you enter an area to trigger a mission, a mission record button will pop up at the bottom left of your screen. If you click on it, the task window will open with the current task highlighted and more information in the box at the bottom. The information presented in this box usually guides you through the quest.

Many missions have multiple parts and you have to collect some props and combine them. As you perform different steps in a quest, the instructions in the mission menu will change.

The quest button does a great job of letting you know when you’re approaching a quest item or monster.

In Diablo 2 Resurrected, missions are static. You’ll get the same quests whether you’re playing single-player or multiplayer. But many tasks become easier if you team up with other players. Many quests are given by NPCs and are triggered when you enter a near quest item or monster.

In most cases, you can go directly to the quest without talking to the NPC. But if you go back to town, every NPC will have an opinion on the quest. These dialogues are often fun, but many players never take the time to listen to them because they only appear at certain times.

Once you complete a task, you can’t do it again. But you can complete every mission on every difficulty level and get the full reward every time.

Quest Eligibility

In order to get the quest, you have to create a game yourself or join a game with a character who doesn’t complete the quest. When you first enter the game, you can open the quest menu and click on the behavior you want to check. You can find out what you can and cannot do in the quest menu.

There are tasks you can do, even if they say you can’t. This includes all games where you have to kill something or open a chest to get some quest items. If you need items, monsters or chests will drop, even if there are no quests in the game. You’ll get props, but you won’t get credit for quests, but that doesn’t matter in these cases.

Tips for Diablo 2 Resurrected Act 2

The monsters in Act 2 are stronger than in Act 1. In addition, their resistance to attack increased significantly. Therefore, you should stock up on better gear and weapons for the Radament missions in the city sewers.

There are many precious items in the deserts of Aranok. Make sure you have enough City Portal Scrolls to be able to sell items quickly in the city.

Quest Rewards

The quest rewards in Act 2 are often helpful. You can earn extra skill points, stat points, experience, items, and more by doing quests. Not all missions require players to complete, and not all missions have helpful rewards.

You can only get one mission reward permission in Diablo 2 Resurrected. You can perform each mission multiple times, but once you get the special reward for completing the mission the first time, you can’t get it anymore. Although you may still get nifty items dropped by quest monsters, you can also gain experience by killing enemies.

Prior to v1.08 of Diablo 2 Resurrected, quest bosses dropped a high quality item in Acts 2, 3 and 4. Usually rare items, but sometimes unique or collective items. They may drop some special items later, but usually just some blue items.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Difficulty Levels Explained

Difficulty differences in Diablo 2 Resurrected come from increased monster health and damage, some changes to monster types and skills, and a ton of new, higher-level gear.

How to Change Difficulty in Diablo 2 Resurrected

There are three difficulty levels in Diablo 2 Resurrected, Normal, Nightmare and Hell. Players can enter Normal difficulty from the beginning of the game, and when Baal is defeated, players will unlock Nightmare difficulty. Then, when the player kills Baal in Nightmare, they will turn on Hell difficulty.

Players need to complete the difficulty switch in the main menu, and cannot change the difficulty while playing the game. Players are free to switch between difficulty levels as they like, but any quest they’re doing will reset to the last checkpoint they reached on that difficulty. It’s good to know this before starting Diablo 2 Resurrected.

Higher Difficulty Levels

All three difficulty levels are independent. You have to redo all missions, find all waypoints, etc. As far as quest rewards go, that’s a good thing. Because it means that if you make it all the way through Normal, Nightmare and Hell, you can get all the rewards three times.

  • If you die on Hell’s difficulty, you lose 10% of your current experience. If you find your body, you can recover 75% of your lost points.
