Video Diagnosis In Creator APP

This article will show you how to use the Video Diagnosis feature to create more engaging content as a creator.
The feature provides helpful analysis and suggestions, and after reading this article, you’ll know how to use it to optimize your videos.
How to use Video Diagnosis
  1. On the Data page of Creator Center in the TikTok app, scroll until you see the Video tab.
  1. Video Diagnosis is based on a 7-day period starting when the video is published.
  1. The Key Metrics are:
    1. Revenue
    1. Videos
    1. Views
    1. Orders
    1. Items sold
  1. Scrolling down, the video list lets you search for videos in a few ways:
    1. Input the video name or ID in the search bar.
    1. Toggle between Recent, Revenue, Views and Items sold.
  1. Once you’ve found the video you want, click on the thumbnail to get its diagnosis.

Understanding Suggestions in Video Diagnosis

Different suggestions will be triggered depending on the status of the video:
Can do better
  1. What it means: On a GMV level, your video is performing lower than the industry standard.
      1. Click on Expand All to see the suggestion in full and view a tutorial.
      1. There’s also an Inspirations tab, which shows you videos with high interaction, conversion or finish rates. Click on the thumbnails to view each one.
      1. The key metrics section shows the performance of the selected video over the past 7 days.
      1. The Product list shows the products in the selected video, along with their respective commission and sold counts.

Did not meet threshold

What it means: Your video did not meet the minimum requirements for evaluation.

      1. Click on Expand All to see the suggestion in full and a link to a playbook that offers a thorough run-through for optimizing video content.
      1. There’s also an Inspirations tab, which shows you videos with high interaction, conversion or finish rates. Click on the thumbnails to view each one.
      1. The key metrics section shows the performance of the selected video over the past 7 days.
      1. The Product list shows the products in the selected video and their respective commission and sold counts.
Trigger violation
  1. What it means: Your video has triggered violations according to GNE, which has led to a decrease in traffic.
      1. Click on Go to Account Standing to see the reason(s) for the violations to avoid repeating the same mistakes moving forward.
      1. There’s also an Inspirations tab, which shows you videos with high interaction, conversion or finish rates. Click on the thumbnails to view each one.

Low quality products
  1. What it means: You have chosen products with low Product Selection Score (PSS).
      1. Click on To Choose Better Affiliate Products to select products with higher PSS from stores with a store rating.
      1. There’s also an Inspirations tab, which shows you videos with high interaction, conversion or finish rates. Click on the thumbnails to view each one.
      1. The key metrics section shows the performance of the selected video over the past 7 days.
      1. The Product list shows the affiliate marketing products in the selected video and their respective commission and sold counts.
